Remember this "When in Vietnam"

Few days ago I went to Mocbai for a visa run and before reaching the boarder decided to comb my hair when all of a sudden, the bus conductor hit my arm, pointed at my comb and shouted at me saying "No no no!!! I asked why he hit me but he just kept saying "No".

I asked a Vietnamese friend the reason for this and she told me that Vietnamese people believes that if you comb your hair in public, (ex.bus) in front of somebody else's house or in front of a door, bad luck will come to them.
