对于歪果仁，红高粱并不是一部容易理解的作品。甚至对于很多中国人，在没有去过山东潍坊，没有接触过骨子里充满欲望的鲁中人，或许并不能真正感受红高粱叙说的东北乡的火热。东北乡的魅力在于人性的欲望，红高粱的成功在于揭示了那群外表朴素的人的内心。
