This is a blog revolving around our journey to save for a van and then our new life on the road - join us for the ride!

26th April 2019 - Part 67

12 days REMAIN!!!!

Today I have been sorting out insurance

So time is getting shorter until collection now so its time to start making the final preperations! Today I took out a caravan insurance policy with one of the major clubs in the UK, It is not a legal requirement to have caravan insurance but it would be very risky not to have it! So that is now done. I also purchased a years caravan "mayday" cover, if the car breaks down whilst towing they will get my caravan to site and take the car to a garage to be repaired. if i get ill they will also move the van for me if I cannot, Well worth having..One of those things you hope to never need but must prepare for.

Very little left to do now from the point of buying or research. Mostly just last min preparation now.

      I thought so too, if i had to pay someone to do it without cover it would costs a huge amount of money!
