Namaste Steemians. As I turned 1 month on Steemit, and being very happy about it, I decided to express my passion and interests even further and share with all of you.

Let me present you my series of YOUR DAILY SHOT OF CULTURE, where I will share the most important facts about different magnificent places and things from all over the world. I wish to advertise all different culture and richness of our planet. I hope you will enjoy in my briefly daily notes. My aim is to inspire you to pack your things and go for adventure called Meet your home planet.

My interest and life style is closely connected to spirituality, and for that reason I decided my first post to be presenting part of the culture from India. This "lady" India helped me to discover myself much deeper. As I am a passionate traveler, I am encouraging everyone to take the step and go to unknown at least once in a year.

Where does our spirit come from and where does it form? This is hard question to answer but it is something that has been molded by the communities around us. Those communities are links to the location and places where we meet others with similar beliefs and interests. I will share one of the greatest temples in India and through that try to understand why those structures make a huge impact on people’s lives.

The golden temple

This temple is considered the holiest Gurdwara of all of Sikhism. This place is extremely popular. As a matter of fact it has a hundred thousand people that come for daily worship. It is located in Amristar Punjab India. It was founded in 1557 by Ramdas Guru. You might be of different faith and belief system, you can still visit this temple. There are four door on all sides of the temple to represent it’s openness. This temple is considered world's largest kitchen. They serve up to 10 thousand to even 30 thousand people free food for the an entire day. Religion or cast doesn't matter.

I had a chance to have their meal. To tell you honestly, I was not even hungry, but that feeling of being part of such huge philanthropy created urge in me to take few bites with and having lunch with so many people around. I believe this is putting your ego down, accepting with humbleness donation or charity in form of food. More importantly, for so many of them it is less struggling when they get daily meal.

Be blissful.
