New York has always been a place I have wanted to visit. We see so much of it on the TV over here in the UK (mostly cop shows that show the bad things such as murders, drugs etc) that it would be good to experience the real NY. Thanks for the post.

    New York is a very big city with multiple Boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn). Some areas will have more crime than others but Manhattan is where you want to be. Brooklyn is also very nice so I'd spend my time at those 2 if I were you.
