Hello dear guests of my blog! Today I want to start a short tour of the Italian city of Pisa.
Although I can not say that the trip was a success, the weather brought a little, all day long it was raining and it was necessary to hide so as not to get wet through.
Pisa is famous for its architectural buildings, for which many tourists come here.
Since the 12th century the city was built in the Romanesque style and worked on it by artisans and artists from the Pisano family.
Pisa is divided into the quarters of Tramontana and Mezzogiorno by the Arno River. The two banks are connected by Mezzo Bridge.
Going which can be sent to the historic part of the city.
Along the waterfront on both sides are the palaces. This is the most favorite place for walking. In the evening, there are a lot of young people here.
We go further, our goal was to visit Piazza dei Miracoli, which translates as a square of wonders, where there is a whole ensemble of architectural structures, one of the most famous is the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
It is a symbol of the city. What it is famous for, knows every child. During the two-hundred-year-old construction, an error was made, as a result of which the tower began to tilt. After strengthening the soil and correction, the tower was even slightly straightened out and opened for visitors, but the slope remained so, so she is famous. The tower was built of white marble.
On the square of wonders is the fountain of the Amur, which is there from the 18th century and remains unchanged to this day.
On the fountain there are figures of Cupids, who in their hands hold the coat of arms of Pisa.
One of the symbols of Pisa is the Capitoline wolf, whose monument is between the tower and the cathedral.
Under the wolf are two children, whom she feeds her milk. They were called Romulus and Remus, they were the founders of Rome.
Well, while it's raining, we went to a cafe to wait and move on.
Thank you all, with you was @marimag
