Greetings, explorers and travelers!
If you read yesterday's post , you know that we'd already started exploring the city from the day we arrived here in Vancouver. I've got a lot of photos of these two days, so I'm gonna choose my favorite and try to post my favorite ones that summarize our adventures.
We started off our day going for breakfast at Denny's: a first for both my and my brother.
We walked through the streets, passing by the UBC campus located in Downtown. I'm really interested in knowing how different Universities are throughout the world.
We eventually took the boat ride up to North Vancouver, where we met our family and a friend for lunch. The food was delicious, and we stayed in the region until it got dark. Then we set off back from where we came, to explore some pubs.
It was fun, but I've got say it: it was nothing compared to what you can do in a good night Sao Paulo.
The image above is a special one for the fans of masterpiece game The Binding of Isaac. Leave a comment if you know what I mean :)
We went walking again the next morning, and eventually took a little boat that got us to Granville Island, where there's the famous Public Market, and the incredible artwork "Giants" by the Brazilian OSGEMEOS, that I've heard about for a long time and really wanted to see.
I also found this beautiful artwork, that I assume was made by a Native People artist, with these unique colors and patterns. Also, it reminded me of Sauron's Eye.
It was an amazing day, from start to finish. We went to so many singular places and I feel a profound sense of gratitude to be here experiencing it all. Being around who you love is life's most precious gift.
