Kuala Lumpur is capital and largest city of Malaysia. If you enjoy in various foods and delicious dishes, but don't want to spent a lot of money, than KL is perfect place for you. You can find so many good restaurants with any food you want; poultry, fish and seafood, frogs, vegetables, fruit, deserts…
But the most popular in KL, and one of TOP 10 TO DO of KL is street food of Jalan Alor! A MUST DO for adventurous foodies, sample your way through this bustling road at night for fantastic street food.
Jalan Alor is a unique food destination in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Sea food, frogs, skewers…
For some kinds, I even don’t know what it is.
You can choose if you want to cook it by alone in boiler at kiosk and use optional spices.
We were amazed with so wide offer of delicious fresh fruit!
Expect the all those various food, you can enjoy in excellent desert, and one of the most interesting there is fried Ice Cream (with Passion Fruit in our case). It’s interesting how long prepare of it is, 5 minutes for just one portion, though ice-cream Master was so fast.
It is hard to find some street where nobody offers durian fruit, very popular Malaysian and Asian fruit. Durian fruit is a tropical fruit known for its unusual, spiky appearance and strong smell. You will love it or you will hate it! Neutral don't exist. I can’t accept this smell and I’m always avoiding it in wide distance because it makes me feel ill.
For Europeans, frogs, snails, insects and even some seafood is strange food and it is rare person who will try it. Most of them will just watch with disgusting or even avoid. Except adventurous foodies. I was brave and decided to taste the frogs. I was impressed. It looks so sleazy that you cannot imagine how frog actually has delicious taste.

If you just need to quench the thirst, coconut water or sugarcane juice is perfect choice!
And for the end, unique dishwasher!
Hope you enjoyed with me in all those delicious dishes. Did you try their dishes? How do you like it? Give me a coment. Upvote if you like it! :D

I went from Bangkok, on a one week trip through Malaysia, to singapore, a little while ago. I live in Thailand, so it wasn't that long. Of course it was like 20 hours to come, to the Malaysian border, by train but it was not thousand airmiles I mean :-)
