Hokitika River is 64 kilometers long river which runs thrugh the West Coast of Southern Island of New Zealand. The first thing you probably notice is blue green color of the River.
One of the West Coast must do on Hokitika River is Hokitika Gorge. Take a look, what a scenic gorge!!!
The track down to the gorge# header is through coast native bush...
...and crazy swingbridge.
Its milky blue color is well worth your visit. Even just to stand there and relax...
The color comes from the glacial ice water melt mixed with the milkiness of the sill that has been grown down from the rock faces arround and under the moving glacier. Interesting!
Enjoy in this beautiful colors! Upvote if you like it and leave comments! :)
