(Travel photo series) Little Cola beach, Goa.

This beach is truly a gem. Cola is a small, mostly untouched beach located in Southern Goa, around 4 miles from the popular Agonda beach. One of the many remote beaches in Goa. The picturesque natural beauty will bring you here again & again.

The beach has a very beautiful blue lagoon and tourists can hire a kayak to venture into the deeper regions of the forest. You can dive, swim, jump in it but it is also quite deep and can prove to be dangerous for non swimmers.
This beach is different from the other beaches in the sense that there are no beach shacks here but rather Rajasthani styled huts which can accommodate 2 people. If you wish to stay in one of these, the 'Dwarka Goa' or 'Blue Lagoon' is the place to go to.

There is a long winding dirt road which leads to a cliff where you have to climb down to get to the beach. Most of the road can be covered on bikes but reaching the end of the cliff in cars is not possible. This is the view from the top of the cliff.

People looking for peace, tranquillity and relaxation with find this place to be very satisfying. This is the sunset seen at the beach during a low tide, which will allow you to walk over the rocks and go deeper.

Meet Tommy, he was very happy to see us. Showered us with lots of love and affection in return for some back rubs. This is something I really love about Goa. Dogs are always well treated, well fed and healthy. Not something that can be seen in major cities.

This is apparently a make-shift palisade tower for the lifeguards, although I'm not really sure if the people on it were lifeguards.

Location : This beach is a 10 min drive from the Agonda beach or a 20 mins drive from Palolem beach. No busses or public transport come down here and a private vehicle is the only way to go, unless you can hike this far.
