Sundarban is a vast forest in the coastal region of Bangladesh which is one of the natural wonders of the world. This wonderful forest area spread across Khulna, Satkhira and Bagerhat districts. As the largest mangrove forest in the coastal environment, the Sundarbans is the largest forest in the world. Among the 10,000 square kilometer, Sundarbans has 6,017 sq km, in Bangladesh.
In 1997, UNESCO was recognized as the World Heritage Site in the Sundarbans. Total forest cover is 1,874 kilometers, canals and bills. In addition to the fictitious autonomy of the famous Royal Bengal Tigers, Chitra deer, crocodiles and snakes are known as numerous species of habitats. According to the survey, 106 tigers and 50 thousand deer are now in Sunderban area.
