built with Makrana Marble, and located in the heart of the City
of joy KOLKATA, West Bengal, India. It was established in the year 1921,
in the loving memory of Queen Victoria. It is now a popular Musuem and a great Tourist destination of the state.It is widely connected with several National & International Cities.
It is a great place of attraction of india. It is a exquisite and grand. It consists 0f 25 galleries,
displaying portraits of Queen Victoria and her husband Albert.
It also includes Royal Gallery, Central Hall, National Leaders
Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, Portrait Gallery, Arms & Armoury Gallery
and Calcutta Gallery. It is indeed a house of collections 0f Weapons,
paintings, coins, stamps.It helds regular shows of Light & Sounds,in Bengali & English.
People love watching it. It is a beautiful spot for family
& friends. Lighting of the Victoria Memorial, looks
mesmerizing at night times. It has emerged as one 0f the famous
destinations of Kolkata, over the years.It is also a place for
lovebirds. There is also a beautiful garden, which is open for
the Visitor, round the year.
It is one 0f my favourite place in Kolkata. I very often visit
the Musuem, specially during the weekend. It is a place of relaxation.
