Hi Guys!
Today I am going to show you some pictures of Porto. I arrived in Porto from Lisbon by train. Since I had my interrail global pass, I did not pay anything. Even if you need to buy a ticket, it is not really expensive. A train trip from Lisbon to Porto could cost around $20 and could last 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are also some bus companies but I definitely suggest you to take a train. Busses take longer time.

Porto is famous with many things such as wine, the bridge Dom Luis, the train station Sao Bento.... All of them and more are waiting for you to discover them. You can find many wine houses in the other side of Porto. Dom Luis bridge is connecting Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Almost all the wine houses are in Vila Nova de Gaia but most of people do not know it. Once you cross the bridge, you are not in Porto anymore. It is definitely worth to walk on the bridge and reach the wine houses and enjoy your time there.

Sao Bento Station is really different than other train stations I have ever seen! Since I mostly travel by train, I have seen many many of them. What makes Sao Bento Train Station different than others is its white-blue tiles. Once you see them, you are amazed. The first tiles were replaced in 1905 and the tiles were renovated in 1978.

I am going to end this post with a picture of Dom Pedro IV's Monument which is located in the middle of center and right in front of the McDonald's that was selected as the most beautiful McDonald's a few years ago. It's actaully really beautiful if you compare it to others. So if you want to eat something unhealthy and want to feel fancy at the same time, that is the best place for you. Nice post! I took exactly the same trip back in Oct 2017. I returned to Lisbon by bus, but it was a lot better and faster by train:)
