An Amateurs Previous Travels

Hey guys, i figured for this post id write about places I’ve been in the past and what i thought of them. Although i am only 18 so I havent been away from home much. Okay! so the first trip id like to start with is Vietnam which i visited a few years ago with my family, i was bit scared seeing as it was my first trip overseas but it was amazing! my family and i met some really friendly people and enjoyed bartering at the local markets. One thing i do have include is to make sure you ask the hotel your staying at where the ATMs are and the best places to eat, because as like any country there are good and bad. My family and i asked a local where an atm was which ended in us getting a lift in the tuk tuk to the furthest atm from our hotel and making us pay too much for a lift back. Although it was scary at first, Vietnam is still one of my favourite trips overseas.

My next trip overseas was China, now this was a lot different as my family and i decided to go with a tour group which i highly recommend. We ended up going places that i would have never known existed and tried all different foods and made friends with others. A truly memorable trip. We took many buses so if this is the path you decide to take make surety download movies on an iPad or bring books to entertain yourself, and like more asian countries its best to bring mostly T-shirts and pants/skirts that go past your knees for when you visit temples (another highly recommended idea)

I have also been to Thailand which was also amazing we did one week of a personal tour guide and another relaxing on a beach just outside Phuket. Our personal tour guide took us to night markets and gave us street food to try as well as amazing tips on the culture there. We got to hear about her life in Thailand stayed with a thai family for a homestay.

I won’t talk about all my previous trips but I’ve also been to Singapore for a few days, a cruise with some friends to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Noumea a two week trip to Adelaide, Multiple trips to Sydney and Coffs Harbour.
