We went to Baška to recharge our batteries and here are some summer vibes for you to enjoy...
Isn't this refreshing to see :)
Island Krk is full of beautiful beaches, but this one in Baška is the longest (almost two kilometers) and most famous one, visited by tourists from all around the world...
This time I took Emily with me (my boyfriend's sister), because she has never been there, so I wanted to show her around...
This is the entrance to Baška. We parked our car near this spot and went straight, following this road...
After couple of minutes walking , just straight from there, we were on the main entrance to the beach, look at this site...
This photo looks at the right side of the beach and on the photo below you can see the left. I wanted to capture this summer madness all-around :)
This main entrance is always crowded, but we found free little spot to put our stuff and to jump to the sea and refresh ourselves...
Emily went first, so I can take a photo :) You can see her smiling face in the middle of the photo (below :)...
After refreshment there, we went further to explore the right side of the beach, where is less crowded and we enjoyed the scenery around...
This is the camping side of Baška and it's also a beautiful sight to see. Camp is only a few meters away from the sea, on the left is the entrance...
And on the right is this view...
I LOVE this scene, isn't this beautiful :)
Since Emily was for the first time in Baška and she is twelve years old I wanted to take her to aquagun, so she can give it a try :)
On the photo below you can see the part of the beach where aquagun is...
And all these people are watching somebody on aquagun and they wait here to be sprinkled when they come down :) You can see that wet spot on the beach :)
And here goes Emily :)
WOOOHOO :)
She went a couple of times and then she decided that she can rest a bit :) So we had a drink there and later went back...
This time we walked through promenade just a few meters away from the beach. Take a look...
On this walkway there are restaurants, coffee bars, cocktail bars, stands with all kinds of souvenirs, everything you need for the beach is there and much more...
At this time it was already 7pm. The sun was going down and the beach looked so inviting again. Why not go to swim one more time :) So we did...
Here we found a spot for our last refreshment and this seagull joined us :)
He was in search for leftovers on the beach, every evening they clean around :) Isn't he cute?
Slowly the beach was almost empty and we were among the last people there. It was much calmer and peaceful in the evening...
What a different vibe in the evening, the colors are amazing when the sun goes down and shines on that little island there (Prvić).
I wrote about Baška and Prvić in April, when I visited it and that is something completely different to see. If you are interested you can check that post here.
Hope you enjoyed these SUMMER VIBES with us, if you are near the island, now is the right time to search for all those beautiful beaches around. If you want the crowd, come to Baška, if not - you can rent a boat and go in search for all the hidden ones... Check up this one in Klimno ;)
Have a great summer everyone, with LOVE, mika-ella...
It's hard to believe that the beach there was that crowded.
Did you paddle board or kayak there?

One of the most famous beaches in Croatia. The main entrance is always crowded, but all around are hidden ones only known to local people ;)
No this time only swimming and showing her around. Maybe next time :)
