The Girl From La Suisse

The most beautiful person I ever met travelling was Hannah Simon from Geneva, Switzerland. I met her in Brisbane, Australia in 2004, and she had the most disarming charm I'd ever seen in a woman. Period.

We remained great friends both on and off the road, and she now works her charms for the UNHCR in Amman, Jordan where this photo of her was taken.

She puts her own life on the line on a daily basis for the sake of humanity, and is probably the kindest and most selfless woman I've ever met in all my travels.

God bless Hannah Simon - the girl from La Suisse.

So, who is the most beautiful person you've met travelling and why?

Cool!

Thanks Olga ... a #nuggetized post to go with a quick cup of coffee :)

The most beautiful person I've met traveling was a homeless man in Atlanta, GA. My husband and I were having an argument. He interrupted us to sing us a song and have a wonderful conversation so we'd be happy. A really kind man.

Some people have a way of shaking us back our senses when our egos rage out of control! Hannah had that same kindness as your homeless man. Hannah is from one of the top families in Geneva, so kindness knows no boundaries! :) Thank you for sharing that @marxrab :)
