This white mushroom-like town in Southern Italy is truly the most fairy-tale-like town I've ever seen. A mythical place, its beauty feels almost unreal. Nestled in the Itria Valley between Bari, Brindisi, and Taranto in the Apulia region, it's a gem of the area.
The town is small, home to just over 10,000 people, yet it boasts world-renowned architecture. In 1996, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been lauded as Italy's 'Heavenly Town.' Interestingly, this town didn't originate from its beauty. It was once a refuge for the local inhabitants.
But none of that diminishes its beauty. Once you arrive, you'll surely fall in love with the white-walled, grey-tiled, round-roofed houses under the blue sky and white clouds. Everything is like something out of a fairy tale, stunningly beautiful and incredibly romantic. It feels as if at any moment, as you turn a corner, you might encounter a fairy princess~"
