The early Phrygian inscriptions are found densely in Yazılıkaya Phrygian Valley.Phrygian inscriptions are known to have benn devoloped from the Phoenician alphabet,and they influenced the Greeks in terms of their alphabet.It was found that Phrygians played an important role in the spread of Phoenician alphabet to the west.Phrygian inscriptions were quite devoloped in the eighth century BC.Early Phrygian Period inscriptions are present in he Yazılıkaya-Phrygian Valley.However,the Phrygian inscriptions have not ben-en fully deciphered yet.Although some experts claim that these inscriptions carry the characteristics of Proto-Turkis inscriptions,and that Phrygians were Turkish,the studies pf epigraphists are continuing.
