FAILED: 143 (I HATE YOU) CEBU PACIFIC PROMO - What is your seat sale story?

SEAT SALE - Everyone has been waiting for this moment. It's the time when traveler hurtle to the Cebu Pacific website even before midnight strikes. And I'm proud to say that I am one of those people rushing to the website hoping to book the dream flight.

So, since valentines day, Cebu Pacific announced that there is a seat sale promo wherein the base fare is 143 (I Love You) pesos only for domestic and international. Everyone is waiting and frenzied for February 14, especially Cebu Pacific offer a new flights from Manila to Basco Batanes.

But for us, Korea is one of the places that we dreamt of. Cousin and I are really excited to book a flight. This is one of our dream since highschool; as we are avid fan of kdrama, kpop and other stuff. We've been planning and waiting this trip right after our Hongkong and Macau trip. Well, it's not hard for me to wait up until midnight because I'm working on night shift.
So, here's what happened - As expected, the website keeps loading. I remember this has happened last month during Piso fare where the website cannot handle the traffic surge. So, I just followed the tricks that I read from the other traveler. I just wait for 2 am, then I started to browse the flights from October up to November as this is our target date. From time to time, I clear cache my browser. Then finally, I have found one flight on November 9 with a base fare 943 pesos. Thus, I get excited, I feel like, “Yay! I’m so close......”. While processing, it prompt a message - “please reload”. I don’t want to refresh as I’m scared that my data will get lost. But I have no choice; so I reloaded the page. Hoping that the fare still available. When the page finally loaded, I immediately type the travel date. And the thing that I feared has come, the 943 pesos seat sale suddenly disappeared. I tried to check the other dates but there are no more low fares availabe..

Our heart sank...Though I think, maybe this 143 fare is not for us; because we don’t have a special someone that we can spill the word “I love you” 😂😂😂. Well, the word “Give up“ is not on my vocabulary; as “Never give up” has been my mantra for the past years. So, what we can do is wait for another sale. I hope Cebu Pacific offer another sale on Friday - Chinese New Year.
