How to Define a Hipster

I have some pants with spots of paint on it, they are warm pants and I got paint on them because I was doing a painting job. I have also in the past worn paint splashed pants when being a rebel and living vicariously as a nonchalant show against the image focused society we live in today.

Here is my pants. Here also is a picture of professionally paint splattered pants by a famous denim brand shown in a shop window. The people wearing the popular brand get a 'feel' of the ethics and the principle behind why the paint splatters are there, but the paint is warn purely for cosmetic purposes. The very reason the paint splatters and tears were worn in the past have become the irony of today's popular culture.

The funny funny part of this is that my pants which are the authentic version are looked down upon because my pants are not splattered correctly and look a bit messy aka could be warn by a homeless bum with real life experience.

The manufactured version of rebellion will get you into posh clubs. The authentic version will get you funny looks in shitty cafes.

Do your own thing! Throw your phone in the water and give up your fear of death. Otherwise the absurdity of existence will capture you and you will believe you are authentic in a manufactured form. Trapped in a cult of fascist rebellion.
