In search of a Naga Sadhu

This guy went to the Kumbh Mela of Nashik to met "Naga Sadhus", he met his namesake there . Naga sadhus(saints) lives in the caves of Himalayan, isolated from human civilization and come to mainland only during the Kumbh Mela. This is the only time when these ascetic saints can be seen among the general population.They hold tridents crowned with human skulls. Their bodies are smeared in thick ash and they wear heavy coils of matted hair on the head. These saints remain completely naked even during biting cold. They smoke Marijuana through a pipe called a Chillum or Shiv Muli. They use it as a tool to avoid the worldly distraction. But some say that as they advance in spiritual life they leave renounce the intoxication too. Anyways, check the video.
