We drove in 2 cars from Atlanta to Blue Ridge about 2 hours away. Found ourselves in the expansive Chattahoochee National Forest with a view of Toccoa River and mesmerised by the unspoiled mountain beauty, majestic trees and pristine mountain air.
Home for the next 3 days was a lovely cozy mountain cabin with a sparkly little stream and deers occasionally wandering into the vicinity. Special time with family included making biscuits and gravy for breakfast and dinner at one of the several upscale restaurants about 30 minutes away.
The boys were thrilled and had a blast riding the atv exploring the trails, waterfall and quaint covered bridges.
The ladies naturally needed to do some window shopping at the nearby small town. Charming with well stocked stores and nice restaurants.
Evenings were cold enough for us to enjoy a s'more of two around the fireplace reminiscing the day's pleasurable events.
