I mean going directly to their flights page :) https://www.google.com/flights/ This is especially useful if you DON'T know where you're headed and are open to adventure. If you click on "Explore Destinations" toward the bottom instead of searching for something specific, you'll get to page with the wonderful "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. Click that and you'll be taken to all sorts of deals. That's how I booked my roundtrip flight to Europe for under $800 in the summer. No joke. I don't work for Google, obvs. ;)
