I have always loved where my birthday falls on the calendar year, almost exactly halfway through the year, June 16th. It is an exciting time to celebrate, the end of the school year is upon us, warm weather and longer days. This year my birthday was extra special, I was able to travel to Vegas with my co-workers for the weekend.
We stayed at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street, an oldie but goodie! Old Vegas is where I prefer to stay, I love the gathering of people from all walks of life. The street performers are always amazing, live music, and fun night life.
As far as entertainment, we went zip lining down Fremont Street on SlotZilla, which I highly recommend. We walked down the main strip through all the major hotels, (I was traveling with first time visitors) ate at the Bellagio, swam at the shark tank, but mostly just relaxed after a stressful school year.
I would love to hear if you have a preference, Old Vegas or the Strip?

I like both. Last year we stayed near freemont street a few days and a few days at th strip. Freemont has a lot of charme, the strip is more like it is having a lot of power..
