“Himalayan Salt Cave at Brach” - Day 733: #freewrite

I am just back from our visit today. After work, we came by to see the team of Brach Paris Hotel. It’s one of many new hotels in town which is recently launched this summer. It’s designed by Philippe Starck, in collaboration and her daughter Ara Starck (The father is worldly loved, but she’s also super cool!). The hotel look is refreshing and we particularly love its sporty feel. The staffs are dressed in Le Coq Sportif, a Parisian fave activewear.

We visited the rooms named after the famous athletes from 1930s and 1940s. We enjoyed a glass of champagne at it’s terrace restaurant and we went up to see the rooftop potager garden with a nice view to the Eiffel Tower. We then went down to see the gym, pool and spa, which they call it Brach Le Club de Sport.

There they have two Himalayan salt caves for the guests. It’s very interesting when you enter these saunas. The rose sea salt tablets are decorating the walls, giving its unique and warm ambience. The salt spreads the negative ions to combat our overdose of positive ions, which helps us to relax, de-stress and is overall beneficial for our health. The damp temperature in those rooms feels a bit different compared to the usual humid sauna. They said that by sitting just few minutes in there give us the same benefit as if we are living in the Mediterranean. Who would not want that? So, we have two options I can see. Either we redecorate one of the rooms in our home with these salts, or let’s just pack a bag. This hotel is part of EVOK Hotels and is located on the 16th district. Bring along your loved one!
