Carnival Cruise - Caribbean Jan 2018, Part 2

in travel •  7 years ago

Our first port of call was Montego Bay, Jamaica. My wife and I got off the ship but didn't venture out any farther than the ship port/terminal area. A couple of reasons contributed to this. Our one prior visit/excursion to Montego Bay, Jamaica was not a very pleasant one, as while everyone is your friend, all that they seem intent upon in the end is parting you from your money. This combined with a "travel advisory" by the US government at the time of our cruise for certain parts of the island impacted our decision to not venture "out" at this particular port of call. That having been said here are some pictures of interest.

And a view from the ship.

In summary, the views from the ship of Montego Bay, Jamaica, were very beautiful and scenic. Maybe next time we will once again venture out to see what Jamaica has to offer.
