J.R. O’Neal Botanic Garden
British Virgin Islands is all about beaches and bodies of water only, well, you are mistaken. Go past the beaches and the bays, and you will find the J.R. O’Neal Botanic Garden – it is one of the places to visit in British Virgin Islands.
The J.R. O’Neal Botanic Garden was launched in 1979 by the BVI National Parks Trust. It is situated in Road Town and it is one of the most visited gardens in BVI. This lush botanic garden is about 2.8 acres of interesting tropical plants that are native in BVI. It also contains trellis-type walk, a pond full of lilies, waterfalls, a bird house and rain forests, among others.
