London has always been one of my favorite places to travel. Not because of the place, but because my best friend stays there. And we have a deal to visit each other often. Last trip I made some couple of years back, and after that she came over twice to visit me. So the next time is my turn to go and see her :-)
Thinking of it, brings back some of the memories that I have of this place. All these pictures are taken during multiple journeys. But it is always exciting to visit this place. It has so much to offer to it's tourist. The outskirts of London are also worth a visit, the Country side is beautiful and if one has some extra days at hand then Scotland should be included in the itinerary.
Let me share some pictures with you from my holidays in London.
All the attractions in London are world famous and does not need any introduction, but yet I will briefly mention.
This is the London Eye, from where you can get a good view of the London City
It gives a good view from the Rives Thames. There is a short boat ride at Thames
The view from the London Eye below. One thing I do not like of this place is it's unpredictable weather. You never know when the weather can change and it will start raining.

The Part of the Buckingham Palace which is open for Tourist visit. The Palace is beautiful, but if it has to be compared with modern day residences then it falls way behind. It is the old style place and you will be able to figure out that work is needed at many places. Too much of Red and Gold, not the modern day look and feel at all. And from the Royal look also it now looks very outdated.

Covent Gardens is a vibrant place to visit. Good for Shopping, dining and entertainment
And I realized that I do not have a single proper picture of the Trafalgar Sqaure.
It was an effort getting up there to take a picture :-)

There is so much here that it's not possible to put everything at one go, so more will follow in the next fee days.
