Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado
Stunning. The Ancestral Pueblo people constructed beautiful cliff dwellings, and they are extremely well preserved here at Mesa Verde National Park. My favorite was probably the Square Tower House:

While not the largest cliff dwelling, there are still at least 60 rooms. The tower is the tallest ancient structure in the park at nearly four stories high! Perhaps it was the way the shadows added depth, or the color of the setting sun against such beautiful prehistoric architecture that made this dwelling my favorite. I hope you enjoy it too!
