Hi guys! Relative to my post [TravelPh: Puerto Princesa] (https://steemit.com/travel/@nicamblc/travelph-puerto-princesa-palawan), here’s the second part of our Palawan adventure.

It took us almost 6 hours traveling from Puerto Princesa to El Nido Palawan. We bought some food and drinks so that we will not get hungry while traveling. At 8pm, we stopped over at a cheap restaurant to eat our dinner. At 10:30pm, we arrived at El Nido terminal, took a tricycle going to our hotel, just 5 minutes from the terminal.

The next day, we were fetched by one of the guides at 8:30am for the island hopping. We rode in his habal-habal (local term for motorcycle) going to their office. When we arrived at their office, we paid for the environmental fee (good for 10 days). We also rented snorkeling googles. They also have aqua shoes (which you can rent also). We waited for the other group until 9am, then we rode the big boat.

There are atleast 5 island tour packages in El Nido (based on the tour packages offered to us). For our first day, we chose Tour A.

Below are some of our photos in each island. I’ll be sharing my raw photos using Gopro Hero 5, so that you can see the real beauty of El Nido. 😍

There was a swing attached to a tree, so I tried it.

The island hopping ended at 5pm. We went back to our hotel and rest. After an hour or two, we walked to the city proper to search for a restaurant for our dinner. Most of the restaurants there offered Meditterenian foods (there are a lot of foreigners in El Nido). We decided to eat seafoods for our dinner. After eating, we went around the city, searching for souvenirs and pasalubongs. We bought some and decided to go back to our hotel ang get some sleep.

On our second day, we picked Tour C for island hopping.

Because my boyfriend is talkative, we had the chance to have a conversation with Katarina. She’s from Iceland and she’s having her vacation with her boyfriend.

  • HIDDEN BEACH
My most favorite beach in El Nido. 😍

The last part of our island hopping was snorkeling in one part of the El Nido sea. Actually, El Nido is a great place for snorkeling because of its rich and beautiful corals and sea animals. In Shimizu Island, the corals are almost near the beach. We really enjoyed snorkeling in all the islands we’ve been to.

After the island hopping, we head back quickly to our hotel. It’s our last day and we’re going back to Puerto Princesa. I already miss the sea water hugging me. cry

Philippines is composed of many islands. My dream is to go to those islands as many as I can. Know my own country. I choose Philippines.
