I am here
You could practically get everything here, from souvenirs to antiques you name it. These are a few of many stuff they have.
Locally made handcrafts
Antiques
Decorative plates and vases
The most famous coffee among the locals, Tenom Coffee
Look what I found, carved Orang Utan coconut husk, perfect decoration for the living room.
There’s no limitation to what you could find here, local artist set their tables every Sunday without fail to show off their talent on their own creative ways. Henna tattoo, calligraphy, canvas painting and mind you, there’s photographer you could hire for your perfect photography session to capture the best of your holiday at the market as well
He will be delighted to paint what you have in mind for him as well besides, what is readily made.
A very talented uncle, he has been here for ages, locals go to him for calligraphy as well.
Handcrafts is my favourite, I bet you won’t leave empty handed. I myself bought a handmade beaded clutch for myself.
There’s a wide variety of designs and patterns to choose from.
Mine looks like this, if there's anyone interested, I wouldn’t mind to help and get it for you on my next visit there. The clutches that I’ve got myself is only 15$, for a handmade clutch, I think it's worth every penny spent. Below are some pictures I find interesting to share with you guys. Till then. Cheers!
