As one of my first post and new to Steemit, i posted some pictures i took, snorkeling the Jordanian coralreefs, the post give me 2 upvotes, which is a shame for such a beautiful natural habitat with it's teeming life and wondrous colours i wanted to share.
As i learned about Steemit's community and the writings of the members and a few months later, i'll do a retake on the subject.
Near Aqaba in southern Jordan, 12 kilometers of coastline until the Saoudi-Arabian border, is bordered by onshore coralreefs. The reefs are divided into accesible, protected naturereserves which can be explored while doing it in a protective way. Not breaking the coral, no fishing, no collecting shells, coral while diving.
The Red sea, locked in by Egypt, Israël, Jordan, Arabia, an extension of the Indian ocean, is a clear, warm sea, with many of the species migrated from the Indian ocean, these include turtles, sharks, lionfish, lobsters, butterflyfish, Parrotfish, boxfish, clownfish, coralspecies and all the varieties of life one dare to imagine.
So have a look at this beautifull destination, i was lucky enough to visit and take pictures of.
a view as far as one can i see,
Black and white striped sergeant fish,
braincorals,
stalking it's prey, frogfish,
soft corals,
sea urchin hiding in the cavities,
lionfish
needlefish,
A school of shadows passing by,
clownfish, orange/white striped,
boxfish.
Thanks for having a look Steemers, happy i could share this again!
