On December 22nd, 2017 I started a new adventure to China. This time it is Shenzhen.
Shenzhen is the major city in Guandong Province and located immediately north of Hong Kong. It is a special economic zone.
I arrived at Guanzou Airport on December 23rd, at the afternoon. The airport was so big that I felt lost in. As a member of experts heading for a special training at a major chinese company, we had a driver waiting for us. He drove for about 3 hours until we arrived at the hotel. After that, we were invited to a Halal indian restaurant. Then we joined the hotel for rest.
The next day was a free-day. My first thought is to go to HuanQian Beï, the big street of tech geeks in Shenzhen. We take a subway from Yangmei Station which was 10 minutes from the Hotel to Buti, then we changed the lane to Huaxin. You can find an App on Google store to help you which called Explore Shenzhen. It gives you the map of subway lanes (link : https://goo.gl/29qogs )
The tickets machines support English. All destinations are 5 RMB (less than 1$). However, it is better to have bills rathen than coins. The machine gives you one green coin look-alike which is magnetic. You should keep it safe in your pockets because you have to give it back before you leave the station at the arrival.
Changing the lane was easy. There was English writing everywhere.
After about 40 minutes, We arrived at Huaxin station in front of the 5 stars hotel Pavillion.
