Well written and worthy story to tell. I have done something similar when alone in Fez, Morocco. Luckily it all turned out well and I never paid any money over. Glad in the end it worked out well for you.

    It did. Great country. Loved going to Fez as well. Spent 3 months in Morocco as well.
