NomadCouple: Tips and Tricks #1- It's a Big World, How Do You Choose Where to Go?!?

in travel •  7 years ago

After over a year of being on the road and many countries under our belt, we've come to rely on several different resources for support and information. One of my FAVORITES is Nomad List. I'm in no way affiliated with them, but their site has been my go-to whenever I have questions about whether or not a location would be a good fit for us. How's the internet there? Is this the right month to be going? What kind of budget will we need to stay for a month?

Nomad List helps with all of these questions! www.nomadlist.com

We're hoping to share lots of info through our @nomadcouple Steemit blog. Please follow us if you'd like to hear more about our travels and how we're able to make our home anywhere in the world. There are so many great resources out there if you're looking to make the leap and work remotely. I've been so happy with our decision to take the journey and we'd love to share our newfound knowledge with the community.

Wow looks great

Thanks @elsabailey6!

Ah yes, their database is huge! Do you also use FB groups?

Yes, FB groups have been very helpful and I'm a member of lots. Justin is too cool for school and is not on FB, but I love Digital Nomad Entrepreneurs, Digital Nomad Girls Community, and Digital Nomad Forum. I also try and join local community groups wherever we go. They are filled with helpful people willing to answer questions when you get in a pinch. Currently we're in Bali and the Ubud Community FB Group is super active
