Previous week Wednesday at morning I was lying on my bed and suddenly my phone rang. After receiving the call my friend said so excitedly like, Hey buddy get ready we are going to Kaptai to become a moderator for one day. I was so surprised and confused then I replied, What are you saying? Then he said, we are going to kaptai for Kayaking. And will get back the day after tomorrow. I was so much excited because I used to know about Kayaking by Tv or internet. I've never experienced this adventure before. I it is new in our country. And we are not used to it. A ten feet long and thin which is made of Jute, wood and fiber is called Kayak. And used oar to run the Kayak boat. It was invented in Canada. There used to be organized kayak boat race every year. But in our country Kayaking started for Entertainment.

At night we took a bus which is heading towards to Kaptai. And at morning we reached to a restaurant called Joom. Beside the restaurant there was Kaptai Kayak club, this club organized the Kayaking program.

There are some rules to start kayaking. No one can ride the boat without wearing life jacket. And the kayaking will end from where it stared. If you stop you boat at somewhere else you will have to pay some money as a penalty. Then we've figured out these rules were made for security for the tourists and for the local people. And also the club members teach how to run the boat before starting off.

Kayaking

Finally we started kayaking. I thought kayaking is so hard because it seemed so hard to me, but it was so easy actually. And it is so fast, the kaptai lake is surrounded by a lot of mini hillocks. I was kayaking through this amazing place it was adventures. After an hour of kayaking we got back to the spot. At the spot I've noticed a lot of tourist gathered there to experience kayaking.
After getting off the boat we've heard there is park called Sheikh Rasel Eco Park near to the lake. Then we caught a CNG to reach there. It was just 10 minutes from there. Beautiful green park and there is a zoo too. And there was also cable car station. I love cable cars a lot. And took a litlle ride on a cable car too.

How to go?

There is bus circuit which straight goes from Dhaka to Kaptai. For Kayaking in the kayak club you gonna need 300 bdt per hour. Its better to connect with them before reaching there through phone number. Kayaking end at dusk. By CNG you can reach at Sheikh Rasel Eco park and the rent is BDT 20. And cable car ride BDT 270 per head.
