Poor Kylie. At first I wanted to assure you of my deepest sympathy because of this lost occasion, but on second thought: There will be approximately 100,000 super blue blood moon shots on the internet, all looking more or less alike, whereas your shot is unique, irreproducible. And so are you. Lucky Kylie. 😉

Ha ha that is a unique perspective on the issue. I like that!

Woow wonderful fotography I love this picture traveling ,really beautiful photos that you post, I really like it and will share it with me,Art is a life that is filled with nutrients for the body and the heart.
Thanks for sharing

Thank you. Such lovely things to say. I really appreciate that.

Young lady, your writing makes me want to write better! I'm so glad you're back, this platform is so much better for your words and your images.

We had a similar thing with the solar eclipse... it was 99.4% covered at our place.... which was interesting but we are somewhat filled with regret for not travelling to get to 100%. Such is life I guess...

My favourite part about this beautiful comment is the use of the word 'young' :D

Thanks so much, you are too kind. Sorry you missed the eclipse too. What can you do? Can't control the weather.

Heya, just swinging by to let you know you're being featured in our Daily Travel Digest!

Australia always offer magnificient natural shows and/or spectacles! I travelled through Kiama, Wollongong I did not have chance to see something like that!! Great Post!!

Thanks. The South Coast has a thousand hidden gems. It is an area I plan to explore well for some time.

Oh my goodness! Normally I dislike photos; many times sunrises and sunsets strike me as cliché. But your pictures are absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for sharing this beauty!

Thank you so much. What a lovely thing to say ❤

wow your photos are amazing :-) are you from NSW? :-)

Thank you. What a lovely thing to say. Yes I live in Sydney.

Very cool photos and story!

Thanks dude. I appreciate that

What an amazing story, @onethousandwords, even if you didn't find your Holy Grail in the end. I absolutely love the pictures you did capture; especially the painting with light one. Magical!

Wow, another amazing post @onethousandwords. Your storytelling is so amazing. You really do have a gift.

Wow that is a beautiful compliment. Thank you. I am humbled.

You are not alone in your disappointment, we also had rain for 24 hours that day, and the moon was not visible behind thick clouds. No chances.
Do not be sad, at least you had a great adventure with beautiful pictures:-)
Thank you for this cool story!

Thanks for reading and for your lovely comment. I am starting to be less sad now though there are still some awesome shots coming through on social media that cause a minor tantrum :)

Your photos are wonderfull, and I liked the way you told your story.

I enjoyed reading your article, and will read your next with certainely the same pleasure.

Cheers.

Thank you so much. I am so sorry. I missed seeing your lovely comment until just now .
