Thank you for taking this Brisbane 'girl' to a part of Australia I have not yet had the pleasure of travelling to @onethousandwords. You painted an eloquent picture with your words and it is clear to see that the wonder of the outback enthralls you as it did me when I read your post.

Thank you so much. That is beautiful feedback ❤

Wow, that was really beautiful! What a powerful story. It reminded me all those feelings i had standing on your place, watching the dance of colours above Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa, as well as the colours and texture of the rocks itself. THANKS for sharing. Now I'm sure there must be something magical about the place, about the Australian Outback, when someone writes words like these. :)

You are very kind. Thanks for the lovely feedback. I am convinced the Outback contains a special kind of magic. Especially Uluru. That rock is alive.

Heya, just swinging by to let you know you're being featured in our Daily Travel Digest!

I love how you're focusing more on the sentiment of a place than on what you can see! Always a pleasure to read your posts!

Hoorah! Thank you as always. You guys are awesome.

OMG!!! Beautiful. I check everyday to see if you are back. lol Your words have me right there in front of Uluru, my dream, watching the thousands bring in the night sky. Just beautiful!
Sheila

That is the nicest thing. I am so flattered. Thank you ❤

Beautiful pictures and words :)

Thanks!

Brings so many memories! The Australian Outback is a true gem! The red sand, and change of colours from day to dusk, is so rewarding!
Beautiful pics :)

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. That Outback sky is definitely some kind of special magic ❤

So eloquently written, felt like I was right there with you! Thanks for taking me to Uluru with you.

You're so welcome. Thanks for thr feedback ❤

Wow this is really the post you want to read in Steemit. Lovely photos with great story... Just a beauty. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.

Thank you so much. What a lovely thing to say

Well I can appreciate beauty and you have got it all over. I am already hooked. Peace and Love.

I've never had a yearning to visit Australia, but your words are giving me the itch...incredible. Thank you.

That is awesome. So glad to hear it. You should definitely visit, the Outback is like another world.

Gorgeous photos, and a beautifully written imagining of another time and place. I remember that when I visited there I was similarly moved. And of course I came away with a thousand photos of the exact same angle of the rock at different points of the sunrise :)

That is totally understandable. I don't think I'd ever tire of looking at it. I was stunned in person. None of the images I'd ever seen did it justice.

now you make me love your country.

That's so sweet. I'm glad <3

So beautiful! I want to come experience it personally one day! I notice a similar transition of colors as you move into darkness in our sky, here in Alabama. We live on the coast, close by at least :). Thank you for the pictures. Cheers!

I hope you get to see it one day. I love cloudless skies turning to night. They're not much for photography but for soaking in they're my favourite.

I agree. Getting all those colors projected across the cloudy sky is breathe-taking.

Well that was a beautifully imaginative piece 🙂 Do you actually live that close to Uluru then?

Thank you. No I don't live there, I just went on a solo road trip from Sydney to the Outback for a while. It was a wonderful experience.

Solo traveling is the absolute best :). You get to experience so much more when you're forced to interact with the people in the place you're going rather than just staying in a friend/partner bubble

That is so true. I meet a lot more people when I'm traveling alone.

Wonderfully written exploration of the hidden forces of nature hard at work. Magical and fantastical journey into the mysteries of the Australian desert. Having seen this scene myself, I loved reading this take on things.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it <3
