A beautiful mid day capture here at Kite Point in Cabarete on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic.
Kite point separates main Cabarete Bay from Kite Beach.
The entire north facing beach is protected by an outer reef system that provides a buffer from the powerful Caribbean storms. This allows for recreation such as snorkeling and standup paddle boarding with in the protected waters.
Essentially every afternoon the trade winds kick in out of the East and the wind sports community starts to emerge on to the beaches.
Kiteboarders, foilboarders, windsurfers, foil kiters.... One and all are found here in Cabarete which is widely known as one of the wind sports meccas. People travel from all around the world to enjoy the consistent and powerful trade winds warm air and tropical waters here in Cabarete Bay.
the panorama of the third image is the one I like the most ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
