Ubon Ratchathani Zoo - Safari Highlights / Thailand

in travel •  7 years ago

As some if you might not know, but Ubon Ratchathani has a Zoo. Pae and me visited it on our first day, when we did arrived at Ubon Ratchathani.
It is a suprising big zoo. First we wanted to walk around only but we did figure out quickly: There is nothing to see by walk.
So we rented an Electric (Golf) car and gone on a safari around the "Sightseeing Route".
Damn was I happy we were sitting in the safe car. At the beginning of the route where no fences between us and the wild animals in the zoo. That was scary. The animals where running around, hunting after us and crossing the street without paying attention to us.
Did someone of you see the movie Jurassic Park? It was excactly like in the movie!
I can definetly recommend to everyone who is near Ubon Ratchathani to go visit the zoo.
Entry cost between 100 (Thai) and 150 (foreign) bath plus another 50 bath for a car.
The rent of the electric vehicle is 200 bath for 1 hour plus another 200 bath security deposit, which you will get back after returning the vehicle.

Sadly for unknown reason I am not able to upload the whole video. Maybe the filesize is to big. I will try it again when I am back in Germany.

But this automatic generated highlight cut made with the Quik App can give you a good first impression about our tour.

Like always, all video was shot with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone.
