JOKKMOKK WINTER MARKET

This annual winter market in Sweden's arctic has just finished. It's amazing. The population of the town rises enormously for a long weekend in early February every year. If you can't find accommodation, which is quite likely, you can always sleep in the local secondary school for about £20 a night. Sometimes it's 30 below but there's tons of cultural things to do. This was highlighting a moonlit dogsled trip. Last time I went I saw the Northern Lights quite strongly. Enjoy the reindeer kebab and lingonberry sauce with mashed potato. Just check it out on the net. In Swedish its called the Jokkmokk Vinter Marknad. I made this in the style of a newspaper article, but it actually never was. Hope you can read it. Jokkmokk market is however completely REAL.
