Living near here I have seen many foreign yachts come and go over the years and would like to mention some.

Nkwazi

Yacht Nkwazi (Fish Eagle in Zulu), belonging to the developer of the marina, Leighton Hulett, was built here and had just completed a five month cruise to Seychelles and back.

Leighton offered these round the world yachtsmen jobs while they were in South Africa – they were all qualified men in certain fields like engineering and he needed their skills and services.

Thank you @steemitboard for the award.

Beautiful yachts, very jelly. More important the people on them and the stories they carry.

You've certainly met some interesting people in your time.

Thank you @chaomos. Yes, Eric & Susan Hiscock were famous in the sailing world. They completed a few circumnavigations of the globe. They made a living from their books Eric wrote about their travels and sailing guides. Much like the cruisers of today who are YouTubers. I have three of his books inscribed by him when they were here.

My husbands dream has always been getting a sail boat and sailing inland waters.

Encourage your husband to pursue this dream! You are truly blessed in your country to have such a wealth of waterways in which you can safely travel by boat. Imagine how your Steemit would benefit!

that would be so nice, he deserves it, but unless we win the lottery, we do not have the funds. Maybe one day
