Idanre Hill, Nigeria

Idanre Hill is undoubtedly of the ancient and Tourists centers in a western state in Nigeria known as Ondo state.

Amongst the listed places by UNESCO Heritage places, Idanre Hill has been featured due to it Natural and cultural features.
This Hill covers up the major land mass in Ondo State such that one can clearly see its peak from anywhere in the state plus the wonderful things attached to the mysterious hill.
The land mass covers about 962km square and most amazing occurrences up there is the medicinal water found up there, the tree that reveals the lifespan of the King up there in ancient times, a certain spot which must not be stepped on with bare foot and so on.
In ancient times, people of Idanre lived up the hill in various mud coated buildings with iron roofing sheets looking rusty in nature.
One of the festivals performed up the hill which takes a week long is the Orosun festival in remembrance of the top hierarchy among the gods of the Idanre peak.

   There is no doubt the Hill will contribute positively to the socio-economic background of the state if the Government put necessary things in place in order to attract more Tourists of the globe.
