South Africa -

Although it's in the very south, it's often referred as the center of Africa because of it's economical stability and comfort-ability to live for it's inhabitants. It holds land area of over 191,000 sq km (74,000 sq mi) and population of about 56 mln. people.

Cape Town

The capital city of South African Republic. It's glory and gorgeousness has spread around the globe long ago, but it's known until this day and attracts many tourists from all countries anytime of the year. Contrast between nature and city is just breathtaking, you can see top of the mountains sticking out once you are in city area which gives you that incredible feeling and makes you feel really small.

Yip South Africa is not so bad if you stick to the right areas. And leave again soon. :) But thank you for this post it does highlight some of our better regions.

I would have liked very much if you wrote up a bit more on activities , and maybe best times to visit which I would say is almost always spring summer, apart from lesotho which actually has skiing in winter on the drakensberg.

You could do a whole post just on the flowers in kalahari.

But neither here nor there, great post , short and sweet in fact.

Indeed! I should really step up all my writing 'game' and refer more about the places I include.
Anyway, thanks! Glad you liked it!
