Changi Airport in Singapore has to be one of, if not the best airport in the world to be stuck in for a few hours in transit. They have heaps of food & shopping options, enough halls to get your 10,000 steps for the day without pacing the same area too often, a swimming pool (seriously!), and a butterfly garden!
If I'm there during the day I always make a bee-line (pun intended) for the butterfly garden. Last time I was there I had a brand new camera so took some nice photos of our favourite insects.
Flowers and fruit are placed around the garden to feed the butterflies and allow photo opportunities.
I wonder why butterflies are so wondrous to us? There are other flying insects that metamorphose into flying insects, but they don't attract the reverence of the butterfly.
I had never seen so many butterflies in the one place, I was happy to get them all in shot.
So if you ever get the chance, it's highly recommended that you make the time on your stopover at Changi to see the butterflies!
wow... nice information.... i will try next hoiday vacation trip in singapore. thanks @positiveninja for sharing
