Karnali River and the bridge

The largest and the longest river in the western Nepal, Karnali is the destination for majority of rafters in Nepal. Karnali literally means ‘holy water from the sacred mountain'. It is a paradise for the rafters as well as for the visitors . Karnali is pleasant and mesmerizing with it's natural beauty carved with dense forests and spectacularly beautiful landscapes.Karnali region has got diverse landscapes, scenic valleys along with gushing river carved with floral beauties.
The region brings you through lush forests, scenic valleys and gushing rivers with all the floral beauties you came to pass by.
Also the Karnali Bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges of its kind in the world solely held with the support of cables on all sides.

Moreover, it's asymmetric, a cable-stayed bridge is the longest of its type and was built by international collaboration. The river compasses with the hills and flows through some of the least explored and remote areas of Nepal. This bridge is aesthetically very pleasing, and awe-inspiring as well, due to its graceful design and the strength it projects. The bridge spans the Karnali River between the Kailali District and Bardiya District of western Nepal. It is also one of the premier fishing points in Nepal.

It is a haven for those who desire to experience breathtaking scenery, scintillating action and enjoyment of a long trip. Along with the flow of the river, the environment changes into the magnificent views of the Himalayas, beautiful beaches followed by dense forests.
