DaLat - The Beauty Come From The Simplest Things (Part - 2)

In last post, I were wrote about Dalat city, talked about special things only have at Dalat. The different things make the Dalat's beauty, of course. But not only special things, the beauty also come from the simple things.

In this post, I'll show you the simple beauty but not mediocre of Dalat.

The Address Names

Many address had name very simple connect with the characteristics at here and it's set by local people like: Oh God street, Rock street, Cow House street, Light house street, 5-way Intersection, The C5 girls camp, The light hamlet, Railway station street.....

• Oh God street: It's is a slope! If you go up on this street, you will say "Oh God" when you go to the top.
• Railway station street: It's is a slope in front of the railway station!
• **The C5 girls camp: ** This camps only had girls, womans and child in the past, because of their husbands and males at here join in Vietnam war and very rately at home! Today, almost call this area only is C5 without "girls".
• 5-way Intersection: When talk about this address, every one only think about 5-way intersection near by Dalat university not different where.

Not because the street haven't name, but because local people was familiar with nickname address and forget real address name!

The Rains

Well, I must to say that if you are upset, you shouldn't watch Dalat's rain.
Well, Dalat's rains truly sad and deep. Dalat with the long rain and look like no stops. In the rain appear fog create a fanciful scene, a gray sky make this scene become more secret, but this scene very beauty. Maybe you will have bad mood in the rain, but you also can a chance to live slowly, feel the cold and think about yourself.

After rain, Dalat become green and fresh more than ever, trees and streets are washed under the rain, leafs fall cover the street...
With me, a person familiar with Dalat's rain, I only want covered in blanket and sleep. (LOL). But now, when I must go to far from Dalat, I very remember this feeling...

The Houses

The architecture of Đà Lạt is dominated by the style of the French colonial period, but nowaday, Dalat people build their house follow the way they want. Normally, they base on the number of family member, land posision and economic conditions.
Each house create a park of Dalat beauty

The Night At Dalat

Different with the day, Dalat night very quiet and peace, The lights not cover all Dalat, you still see dark areas where the light can not shine.
The green house growing vegetables and flower turn on light over night, it's look like ocean light in night!

The StreetFood At Dalat

Dalat people come from many area of Vietnam, was created a food diversity at here. Beside, they also created a new foods bring Dalat taste
Dalat have cold weather, so Dalat foods often are hot and spicy food
Some famous food at Dalat: baked ricepaper (pizza of Dalat - you must try it when come here), xap xap( a food make from green papaya, meat and eat with fish sauce), hot soy milk...

The People At Dalat

I think, even though scene and natural very beautiful, cold weather or great air..., it's not the most.
I think the most thing is the people, Dalat peoples are affected by the weather, created for local people have a gentle personality from voice to gait, they very friendly , kind and helpful

Student at here wear uniform when go to study, you will see a beauty scene in early morning about student
Dalat peoples go to be early (about 9-10 PM ), you will feel friendly when come here but nowaday, the develop of tourist made for Dalat have some bad scene and I don't hope this thing!
