Recent day, Saigon has big news is the Vietnam's highest tower was opened. Landmark 81 high 461,3 meter, not only is the highest tower of Vietnam, but also is one of 10 highest in the world, Landmark 81 is the 8th highest tower in the world!
Location
Landmark tower was build at center of Vinhomes Central Park, next to Saigon river, detail address for who want to visit: 720A Dien Bien Phu St, 22 Ward, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Architecture
Landmark 81 has bamboo bunch architecture, symbolizes strength, solidarity and the spirit rise of Vietnamese people. The building are covered by Low – E glass with functions is transmitted light, regulate the heat,especially the ability to prevent ultraviolet radiation, help for inside the well-lit buildings but still ensure the temperature cool.
New symbol
I read news and magazine, many post Landmark 81 become new symbol of Saigon, I heard this thing when Bitexco tower opened in 2010, maybe they take the heigh of tower to make the symbol of Saigon. If in the future, have another tower taller than Landmark 81, it will become new symbol of Saigon and Landmark 81 also like Bitexco going into oblivion.
I want to say that: why we don't have specific symbol? like when you say about New York, you'll think about The Statue of Liberty, Paris you will think Eiffel Tower or Sydney you will think Sydney Opera House... It's a questions for the Government!
New place for everyone
Often, if a new building or tower opened, it attract almost are young people. But Landmark 81 is different, not only new place for young people disscover, entertain but also for children and old people visit and relax. With the Saigon's biggest central park and many convinient service provide for visiter, you can camping or meeting at here!
This is some review of mine about Landmark 81, I don't have chance go to floor 80 to see city space from here and I hope I'll have in next time. Let's visit Landmark 81 when you freetime, have many new things for you discover at here!
