Today, i talk about tourist destination, this place very beautiful!
Few days ago, my friend had to travel to Catalina Island, i see her photo on facebook and tell her: "Take more and more landscapephotos for me, i'll write a post talk about this island". Because i'm talk her too late, when i mention to her, she was back to home but her gave me a few photographs of the landscape in the island, it's enough for me!
Santa Catalina Island is a rocky island off the coast of the U.S. state of California in the Gulf of Santa Catalina. The island name is often shortened to Catalina Island or just Catalina. The island is 22 miles (35 km) long and 8 miles (13 km) across at its greatest width. The island is located about 22 miles (35 km) south-southwest of Los Angeles, California. The highest point on the island is 2,097 feet (639 m) Mount Orizaba. Santa Catalina is part of the Channel Islands of California archipelago and lies within Los Angeles County. (source: wikipedia)
I had read the review of tourists to Santa Catalina on yelp.com (1 travel review site quite popular) and Santa Catalina are rated fairly high: almost 4 stars or more. Santa Catalina is not only famous for beautiful coastline but also because many tourism attractions here.
In the day, Santa Catalina attracted you to by many recreational activities to choose from and experience:
If you want see the island from above, you have many choice: You can rent a helicopter hovered in the sky to look out over this beautiful island or rent a jeep to visit the island conservation area and you can see the coast fron the top of the mountain, parasailing also one the good choice for you in this case.
Beside it, kayaking and scuba diving are interesting activities for who love discovery and adventure.
You also can visit Avalon theater or Catalina Island Museum to relax after busy life.
Have many many activitives and places in Santa Catalina for you visit and experience.
And in the night, Santa Catalina transforming itself into the center of the light, you'll be astounded by the beauty of this place at night, it's truly amazing!
The best place i think all most people want to go at night in the island is Catalina Island Casino Ballroom, you can see this place first when come to island. The tower lay on the left of the island and become more twinkle in the night because the light system of the building.
Not only Casino Ballroom but also light from others place in island make the night become more fanciful and sparkling. It's so great and hard forgot if you walking visit and shopping at here at night.
The landscape, beach, weather, location.. make this place become famous tourist destination and you can not miss. I truly want go here and try to the best to travel many place in the world.
