Suzhou China Days 5 & 6

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

We went back to Suzhou to wrap up meetings on Friday. We took the opportunity to do some snowman making training. I rolled up a nice base and my colleague made the middle. We added a head and rough facial features. Unfortunately i did not get a picture because when we went back later, someone had already knocked it down.

We went back to Suzhou for Friday night and Saturday. Here is a nice view from my hotel in Shanghai:

On Saturday we went across the river where you can see the skyline of the new part of Shanghai. It started snowing again so the buildings are a little clouded. We found out that they call the second building from the right "the bottle opener." I also learned that the tallest building is not straight up and down by design to help it withstand winds. The structure on the far left is an old television broadcasting tower.
